Tuesday Haikusday: Adopt A Cat Month

You guys!

Today, I would like to talk about the month of June and what it means to shelter cats. You see, June is “Adopt a Shelter Cat Month,” a month where light is shed on the important topic of saving lives. If you adopt at all, you’re a hero. If you adopt an adult, senior, or special needs cats, you’re a super hero, at least according to us here at CITF. These cats get the least amount of attention at rescues, but deserve a happy home just the same. And now, I wax poetic on adoption. Eh hem…

Adopt a senior.

They deserve happy homes, too.

And they have wisdom.

.

Sure, kittens are cute

but they poop on everything.

Tho, so does Rocky.

.

I’m missing a leg

But its place is taken by

My lioness heart.

.

Old, young, adult, cats

Missing legs or sight or ears

All are worth saving.

Love,

Crepes.
