The Chicago CatVidFest has passed and it was a great success for all; Money was raised, magnets were sold, Rocky was seen. We even got mentioned in the newspaper. Twice. With photos. All lovely, and yet, one of the greatest things that happened is that, once again, I have made contact with my crush.
You may remember that, in August, I mentioned I had a new crush from the Catvidfest. His name, dear readers, is Henri. Perhaps you’ve heard of him? This time, as before, we did not meet personally, but instead we corresponded through our liaisons, MomFOD and Will Braden. I sent Henri a copy of my Zombie Bunker items list and he sent me a copy of his excellent book. Look:
Only time will tell, but I think maybe, one day in the future, fate may bring us together. Until then, my only recourse is to express my feelings for Henri in the form of haiku. Please, join me as I wax poetic about Le Chat Noir. Eh hem…
