You may not realize this, but I’m quite a fan of October. Let me tell you why. Eh hem…:
Leaves falling, twirling
Sailing down amongst my paws.
My toes will crunch you.

I smell pumpkin pie.
But evil FODs won’t share it.
I step in your pie.

Apples are crunchy.
Too big for my little teeth.
I smack them instead.

Hi Crepes, we are glad you like fall cause we don’t. Fall means winter is coming….brrrr.. The falling leaves are crispy instead of thriving and green. Nope….not our season but what can a couple of girls do about it? Not much….so inside is where most of our day is spent.
We didn’t know Marmalade but wish him a speedy recovery….emergency surgery is scary.

I love the smell of fall, the spices aroma in the air (not just from all the baking) the cooler weather that gets my pups spunky! seeing kitties chasing fallen leaves, and the fact that it means the holidays are getting closer. For me holidays are sonomus with (more) family.

We love Fall at my house Crepes…….we had our first fire in the fireplace night before last – that makes it official! We don’t know Marmalade but we do hope he is alright – emergency surgery is kinda scary!

Now October calls
the changing of Nature’s Guard
before Winter comes.
Amid swirling leaves
the pumpkins and goblins dance,
racing moon and clouds.
Dark scents linger long,
intoxicating my soul.
With earth I am one.
Purrs…into the Night,
