I’ve been practicing a little. I got a few more supplies and finally got up the courage to draw this portrait of Rocky. I wish he could see it.
It’s been one month since he’s been gone. We miss you, Rocky.
Love,
Crepes.

What a beautiful tribute, Alana. You are incredibly talented.
Just saw this. Oh, it makes my heart happy and sad achy to see this Rocky immortalized. So much more meaningful than a photo. Art breathes.
What a beautiful portrait. Lots of Noodle hugs to you…

Alana, that is so beautiful. We didn’t know you were an artist as well – and so talented, too! Sending you many comforting purrs, and a hope that with the crazy-busy pace of life right now, you find the opportunity to breathe, and to grieve….
Gorgeous photo. Art is great therapy. Purrs and headbonks heading your way.
That’s a beautiful portrait of Rocky…purrs to you all.
I love it! Beautiful tribute to a beautiful cat. BTW Crepes..I saw your humans on TV..they looked confused as usual..I noticed your Mom dresses in feline prints a lot–proves my theory that all humans want to be cats..Luv Pixie xx00xx
Beautiful portrait of Rocky. Have it framed and hang on your wall. It will always remind you of the good times you had together.
Many years ago my mother had a professional photograph taken of my first dog (when he was six months old). She loved to tell the story of how they snuck off to the photographers one day when she was doggie sitting. Such a good dog. He never told on Mom. Of course he was probably bribed with cheeseburgers. She kept the portrait for a Christmas present. I still have it hung in my home. Such wonderful memories.
It’s beautiful and full of love.
It’s beautiful, as was he.
Purrs,
Nissy
PS. Amazin’ detail there. I love the reflected light I can see in Rocky’s eyes. purrs

OHHHH MYYY! This is EXQUISITE!!!!!!! You are soo incredibly talented! I draw but have done NOTHING this exquisite. Every detail, the light in his eyes, the whiskers, the soft blending of his fur. This is incredibly. Please, please frame this and put it in a prominent location where you will always see it xoxoxo
That is pawsome! We feel like we can see his soul through the eyes.
Rocky would approve.
XOXO

P.S. I still miss my kitty, too.
I just found your blog the other day. I am sorry about Rocky, he was a beautiful cat and you did a wonderful drawing of him.
Wow, that is a really amazing drawing of Rocky. He would be proud! Did not know you had such talent on the art side of the things.
That a wonderful portrait! Rocky would curl up on it and snooze away! You, on the other hand, should frame it.
Oh that’s really wonderful…….captured the inner tiger of Rocky – I’m sure he approves from the Bridge – in fact I think I heard a little roar just now!
