I went to the doctor yesterday. First of all, I’d like you to know I didn’t use a carrier. For the first time, I used a harness and buggy. It was WAY cooler. I could see everything! And I looked like a princess being wheeled around while people held doors open for us. Fantastic. And then, Dr. C kissed me! She did! And I let her. It wasn’t so bad, actually. So here are a few poems about it. Eh hem…
Wheeled in my buggy

Any Chicago (or surrounding area) peeps interested in helping out at the September 6 CatVidFest, please email me at CrepesATcatinthefridge.com. We have shifts from 12 to 4, 4 to 8, and 8 to midnight. We need help! All proceeds are going to Tree House Humane Society and Chicago Cat Rescue. Volunteers get snacks and a free screening of the reel. Let us know if you’d like to help! In attendance will be Lil BUB and Mike, but more importantly, MomFOD and Kris Flanagan. Hurray!

So glad you got out alive from the Stabby Place, Crepes! Mom uses several different vets depending on what the problem seems to be…sometimes the Housecall Vet or the one who has an on-site lab where she can get the blood results back in 20 minutes. We prefer the Housecall Vet! But for those occasions when we have to road trip:
Going to the vet
Stuffed into the carrier
Screaming all the way
Don’t like road trips much
Mom drives like a maniac
I use the seat belt
Now I’m at the vet’s
No needles or nasty pokes
It was not sooo bad
On the road again
Praying I get home alive
Plotting my revenge

SO happy to hear you got the “all clear” from the vet guy…….I go to the vet with my harness and leash NOT a PTU because I think they are too scary and confining and yucky. I wonder if I’d like a buggy……not sure…..at my age I may need one soon anyway just to get around! HAHAHA

I’m going to the vet today! I need my rabies shot and my first checkup with the vet my human goes to. I don’t get to wear the harness, though because I only had it on for the first time last night and my human wants to make sure I don’t associate it with any “bad experiences.” Although I don’t see why going to the vet is bad… they have a table like they do at cat shows, right? And those are lots of fun!
