Today’s Bachelorette is special for a few reasons. One, she is one of the Adoption Champion photo models, with portraits taken by Victoria Sprung. Two, she’s amazing. And three, she’s representing today all of the kitties and pups that need a home on this Remember Me Thursday.

When Siobhan was a wee kitten, she was removed from a feral colony and sent to a specialist because of her hind leg deformities. Now, please note you can’t even see the deformities in this photo, that’s how little they matter to Siobhan. They mattered to the doctors, though, when they suggested that Tree House euthanize Ms. Le Fay. Alas, Tree House was not deterred, and with a partial amputation and rehabilitation program, Ms. Le Fay is now able to walk with a splint and is ready for adoption! She will continue to need some rehabilitation therapy but is ready for anything else that life will throw at her, which will hopefully be a lovely catnip pillow and a sun puddle in which to nap.
If you’re interested in Siobhan Le Fay, please contact Tree House. It won’t be long before this beauty is whisked away to a home, never to be adoptable again. And don’t forget Coda Coda, one of our other Adoption Champion kitties and a medical miracle!
If you can’t adopt today, please light a candle, either real or virtual, for Siobhan and all the animals like her awaiting their forever homes. Many beautiful pets have died because they weren’t adopted. Siobhan is lucky enough to be at a no-kill rescue like Tree House, but many others aren’t as fortunate. Spread the word and “opt to adopt.” Many millions of tiny lives depend on it.
Love,
Crepes.

I also have a handicapped tortie cutie. Missing One leg doesn’t slow her down one bit. Wish I still lived in Chicago, where I got my first kitty in the 80’s, or I’d adopt her in a heartbeat!
Mommy lit a virtual candle on-line as we no longer have real candles after a couple of accidents involving clothing and furs. Siobhan is a beauty. Praying she has her forever home very soon. Purrs and hugs, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
She truly is an amazing kitty.
We love the behind the scenes photo. She’s beautiful, and we’re so glad that Tree House took her in so that she has a chance for people to see that cats that aren’t “perfect” are still perfect pets.
She is so pretty. Hope she finds a forever home. I lit a candle for today.

Thank you, Sue.
She’s beautiful!!!!
Oh she’s magic!
A human society is only truly developed when it values the lives of it’s animals (paraphrase).
