You Guys!
I was at the Internet Cat Video Festival this weekend, and it was amazing!!!
First of all, I would like to thank each one of you who voted for Catalogue for the Golden Kitty Award. Out of 7,000 videos, we came in second place, behind only Grumpy Cat, and from what I hear, it was a pretty close vote. We’re so proud of that! And we have all of you to thank!
And now it’s time for my confession. I went into the Animal Planet VIP tent and met Will Braden, the thieving filmmaker of Henri, Le Chat Noir! Can you believe it? I will confess: I have a thing for french cats. And so, I confess that I have a crush on Henri. I was too afraid to ask Will for Henri’s phone number, but maybe I can send him a little letter or something. Do you think he’d like me?
I should also note that Will Braden was really nice. He was very friendly and kind to momFOD and has a very caring heart for animals and wants to help them, too. I think I am now Henri’s biggest fan.
And then, I met Lil Bub!
We’re both special needs cats, although her needs are different than mine. Her person was so very nice, and so very wanting to help special needs animals. He obviously cares very much for Lil Bub and it was really nice to meet him.
As for butter cat, I wasn’t even allowed near him! Not even one stupid lick. And there was no bread! I’m so sick of people talking about bread and butter and not giving me any! Next time someone advertises something about bread and butter, I want my taste test guaranteed in writing.
Other than that, we had a wonderful time. Scott Stulen from Walker Art Center was very welcoming and happy to have us there. Monopoly debuted their new Cat Piece and we got a free Monopoly board game! Jenny from Tree House came with us as our guest and helped spread the word about all the cats they’re helping. More than ten thousand people showed up, although out of all those people, not one person asked momFOD or her co-star Kris Flanagan for their autographs. Someday…

Crepes I think anyone who met you would fall in love with you. Congrats for your second place win and to be neck in neck with Grumpy Cat that is pretty amazing. It sure looks like everyone had a great time.
