Bachelor of the Week: Jean Valjean Plus An Extravaganza!

You guys!

Happy Thanksgiving to you all! I listed everything I was thankful for yesterday so that today I could focus on the important part of my site: Bachelor of the Week! Since it’s T-Day, I wanted to do something a little special. I’m going to present to you a wonderful kitty named Jean Valjean, followed by an extravaganza of photos from our last photo shoot with Tree House!  Special thanks to John Boehm for his beautiful photos! (Also, see the bottom for our Steamy Pups Giveaway winner!) Without further ado…

Jean Valjean. Un medium-sized amour.

Jean Valjean. Un medium-sized amour.

Meet Jean Valjean! Described by Tabby’s Place as a medium-sized tabby, we’d like to point out that sometimes medium is just right. It was perfect for Goldilocks and could be perfect for you, too! This particular Jean Valjean is far from miserables, but he is a little timid. He would prefer a home where the people are more medium-sized, rather than petit or small, i.e. children. Jean Valjean has FIV, although he’ll remain healthy as long as he’s well cared for. It kind of makes him sound romantic, though, doesn’t it? Jean Valjean, with the malaise of FIV, is looking for love, for his one, his only, his perfect fit, his medium soul mate. Will it be you? If you’d like to meet Jean Valjean, contact Tabby’s Place. Remember, distance means nothing if the love is true. Bon amour. Tres magnifique. Voulez-vous pet Jean Valjean sesoir? Le purr.

And now, let the T-Day extravaganza begin! If you see any kitties you like below, contact Tree House! Act fast! These little guys are gonna go like hot cakes.

Today, I want to mention a few, but not all, of the things I’m thankful for. Eh hem….

For Doodle, who licks my ears when no one else will.

For dadFOD, who cleans the boogers out of my nose when momFOD won’t.

For momFOD, who makes sure I have a healthy diet and who rubs my ears in just the right way.

My sisters.

My sisters.

For gramFOD, who comes over and feeds us whenever the FODs travel.

For Tree House and Rosa, for saving me from a bad life situation and from a bad place that was going to end me.

For rescues like Tabby’s Place, Cat Guardians, Feral Fixers, Chicago Cat Rescue, Lovey Loaves, Pets with Disabilities, and others that I’ve worked with who work every day, many with only volunteers, to save and rescue handicapped and healthy pets alike.

For my readers, who are a great bunch of people that I know support my cause. Without you, my blog would be useless.

For the kind people who step up and help when cats and dogs are in need.

For pie.

For my magic carpet.

For toilet paper to shred that Rocky later poops on.

I shredded it, Rocked pooped on it. Teamwork.

Tuesday Haikusday: T-Day

Greetings, dear readers! It’s T-Day week and I couldn’t miss the opportunity to write about food. Let’s see Martha Stewart try writing about food via haiku. Eh hem….

I will wear food for this week only.

I will wear food for this week only.

T-day, T-day, Hi.

You’re here again, so I want

to Thank you. Welcome.

.

Let me taste that pie.

No? I see. I am choice-less.

Sneeze. Now it is mine.

.

Pumpkins, pumpkins, pie.

And maybe some cranberries.

I’m thankful for food.

I guess I’m also thankful for momFOD, and dadFOD, for having a home, for not being outside in the cold like I might have been if I hadn’t been rescued by a chain of loving people. I’m thankful for my blogging community, my readers, and the ability to help others. What are you thankful for?

Speaking of food, please don’t forget to enter my giveaway! Only one day left. You can win a tasty package of Steamy Pups from The Honest Kitchen.
