Thank You For Your Support Giveaway

Dear Everyone,

We are posting today to thank you for your support in the recent Catdance festival. It is unlikely that we are the winners, even though they said they still have to count the votes, but we are so pleased to know that all of you were behind us. Each time you took a moment out of your day to cast your vote for us was a gift, and we appreciate it sincerely.

We had hoped to really win it this year but it seemed that no matter what we did, we just couldn’t close the gap. There are many things we could complain about, and yet we won’t, because we feel grateful to have been shown so much support from all of you. Everyone who shared our links, asked their friends to vote, and posted badges and posts on your own blogs have touched our hearts more than you know. Our greatest sadness is that we won’t win the prize that we had hoped to share with not only our friends who have helped us with our films over the years, but also with so many homeless animals who could have used the thousands we had planned to donate. Like last year, however, we will continue blogging and making films in support of adoption and hope to do more good that way than we ever could have financially.

To thank you for your kindness, we are arranging a special giveaway with four prizes! There will be four winners (one prize to each) and all you have to do is comment below before Friday March 7th at 11:59 pm and say you’d like to enter. And that’s it! No voting required.

We hope that you’ll support our future films and our web series CATastrophes, which is dedicated to spotlighting rescues and adoptable cats. Our newest episode will be out very very soon (subscribe to be notified right away!) and will be spotlighting a whole bunch of cuties from Tree House Humane.

Thank you again to everyone, from the bottom of our hearts.

Love,

Alana, Crepes, Michael, and the CATastrophes team.

And now it’s me Crepes with the prizes!!!!

The Prizes:

Three Magnets!

Three Magnets!

One each to three winners of these fine magnets! There are two Catalogue magnets and one “Her Ass Dangles Off Into Space” CITF magnet. If you have a preference, let me know in the comments and I will try to meet your request! (If all three people pick the same one, though, I’ll be in trouble, so please give a second request if you have a strong preference.)

And the grand prize (DUHUHDUHDRRDRDRDUHHUHDHD DRUMROLL….)

A Catalogue poster! Signed by Rocky and the humans behind Catalogue. They’re limited edition, fine quality! This prize will go to one (1) lucky winner to hang on your wall! Frame it for posterity! Or, tell me you don’t want it and would prefer a magnet of my posterior dangling into space!

The grand prize! (frame not included)

Good luck to everyone and thank you again!

My First Blogoversary & The Lil Bub Special Special

You guys!

Hurray!!!

Hurray!!!

I cannot believe it. It has officially been one year since we started blogging and it snuck up on us real fast! We are very pleased to have grown so much this year and would like to thank:

  • The Blogosphere at large. You are all incredible people and animal lovers. We thank every one of you that has helped us and answered our questions, allayed our concerns, and pointed us in the right direction. We have too many favorite blogs to mention each one and we discover more every day.
  • Layla Morgan Wilde of CatWisdom101. You were the very first person to reach out to us when we were brand new. You pointed us in the right direction, invited us to the blogosphere, and have served as a helpful mentor and friend. Thank you!
  • BlogPaws! Without you guys, we would not have had some of the great opportunities that we came across this year, like the Adoption Champion project.
  • Tree House, Tabby’s Place, Cat Guardians, Chicago Cat Rescue, Pets with Disabilities, Lovey Loaves, Kitty Bungalow, Harmony House– wonderful rescues that have provided us with information and bachelor/ettes many times over the year. Thank you for believing in us!

We are very proud of the successes we have had in advancing the adoption of special needs pets using humor. And, not to toot my own horn, I put together this little page of our Accomplishments to highlight all of our favorite moments from year one.

We have some exciting news to share with you today, too: We (especially me) will be appearing in the Lil Bub Special Special on Animal Planet this Saturday, February 8th at 9 pm E/P! It’s true. Our friend Bub, THE most famous special needs kitty, chose some of our clips as her favorite ones from the internet to include in her funniest animal clips show. Look carefully, because you’ll see our videos at least three times (from what we heard) – Clips from Hell-Copter, my version of the Harlem Shake, and even a clip of me and my biological brothers and sisters playing under the sheets.Special logo and announcement

To put the cherry on the Sunday (actually it’s Wednesday, but whatever) of our one-year celebration, Bub sent us this great message to commemorate our one-year anniversary:

My Dear Crepes,
Today marks the completion of your first full year of cat blogging. Specifically, you have shared magic with the world for the duration of one complete revolution about the sun. And once you really wrap your head around that fact, you will realize what an amazing accomplishment this is. Congratulations Crepes, you are one of a kind.

Thank you again to everyone who has helped make our blog a success. It has been a year that we are tremendously proud of and that we hope to top in our second year. We appreciate every reader, every comment, every share, like, and word of encouragement. From the bottom of our hearts: thank you, thank you, thank you.

Happy New Year!

Dear Everyone,

Thank you so much for being a wonderful reader and friend! I will try very hard to make 2014 even more successful than 2013 so that we can help more special needs pets find their happy homes. I have appreciated each comment, each visit, and each share. Your friendship and desire to read what I write means more than I can express in words. Happy New Year to everyone!

Happy New Year CITFPS  Here’s a little video I did that contains fireworks. Please enjoy.

Also, as a tiny side note, today’s MomFOD’s birthday. So, Happy Birthday MomFOD! You’ll always be older than me and you can’t ever change that! – Crepes.
