The Moment of Poop

You guys!

Being in Exile, I had no choice but to sift through MomFOD’s cell phone looking for things to post and I found a doozy. You know how MomFOD likes to take Rocky around in a little wagon? Well, she upped the ante this week. She put him in… a stroller. Also, you know how Rocky likes to poop? Well, I just wanted to share with you the moment in the doctor’s office just before it happened, right when MomFOD knew it was going down. Check this out:

The moment of poop.

The moment of poop.

There is no mistaking that look. Just behind the curtain, things were happening that cannot be unseen. Never before have I been so thankful for a privacy shade.

Don’t forget about yesterday’s bachelor Scooter who also drops the bomb at inopportune moments.

As a reminder, I am still in exile. Here I remain for how long I cannot say. Exile posts coming soon.

Love,

Crepes.

P.S. Rocky doesn’t know I posted this. Don’t tell him.

The Week in Photo Review

You Guys!

I thought it might be fun today to show you a bit about what goes on around here during a typical week. This happened to be a filming week, so I’ve chosen some of my favorite “behind the scenes of life” photos to share with you.

With our web series, it can be difficult to find free time. Here’s MomFOD and Doodle taking a bit of a break on the balcony.

Doodle and MomFOD on some down time.

Doodle and MomFOD on some down time.

As you can see, Doodle took advantage of the moment. Figures.

Next, we have some exciting behind the scenes photos from our upcoming CATastrophes Episode 3. We got a new stunt double. Doodle was unsure of how to handle the situation.

Are you...real?

Are you…real?

Next, we have a shot of traveling to a location to film. MomFOD looked in the rear view mirror and couldn’t help but wonder what co-star Kris Flanagan was up to.

Hmmm...

Hmmm…

It turns out, he was sleeping. Not uncommon.

Moving along, we had some kittens on scene. Check this out:

As you can see by the look on his face, this kitten did not get the bowl full of all red M&Ms, six green-striped towels, and case of liver treats that he requested for his trailer. He was given, instead, a kiss on the head. I don’t think we’ll be working together again with his attitude.

Here we have the not-oft-seen DadFOD taking a moment to step out from behind the camera to pose with another of our kitten stars.

DadFOD and Kitten. The novelty will soon wear off and he'll return to hugging me. I have no doubts.

And finally, we have this:

It’s Mrs. Peabody contemplating life whilst resting her head on a sweet potato.

I hope you’ve enjoyed this peek into a typical week of my life. Of course, no photo journey is complete without a photo of me:

Have a happy weekend, everyone!

Love,

Crepes.

PS. MomFOD will be leaving town next week for a few days. Too many days, in fact.¬† I will be chronicling my time home alone with DadFOD. It will be a sort of written account of all his goings on, in case anything happens while she’s away. I can only hope things don’t go awry.

Bachelorette of the Week: Siobhan Le Fay

Today’s Bachelorette is special for a few reasons. One, she is one of the Adoption Champion photo models, with portraits taken by Victoria Sprung. Two, she’s amazing. And three, she’s representing today all of the kitties and pups that need a home on this Remember Me Thursday.

Ms. Siobhan Le Fay, Ladies and Gentleman.

Ms. Siobhan Le Fay, Ladies and Gentleman.

When Siobhan was a wee kitten, she was removed from a feral colony and sent to a specialist because of her hind leg deformities. Now, please note you can’t even see the deformities in this photo, that’s how little they matter to Siobhan. They mattered to the doctors, though, when they suggested that Tree House euthanize¬† Ms. Le Fay. Alas, Tree House was not deterred, and with a partial amputation and rehabilitation program, Ms. Le Fay is now able to walk with a splint and is ready for adoption! She will continue to need some rehabilitation therapy but is ready for anything else that life will throw at her, which will hopefully be a lovely catnip pillow and a sun puddle in which to nap.

If you’re interested in Siobhan Le Fay, please contact Tree House. It won’t be long before this beauty is whisked away to a home, never to be adoptable again. And don’t forget Coda Coda, one of our other Adoption Champion kitties and a medical miracle!

If you can’t adopt today, please light a candle, either real or virtual, for Siobhan and all the animals like her awaiting their forever homes. Many beautiful pets have died because they weren’t adopted. Siobhan is lucky enough to be at a no-kill rescue like Tree House, but many others aren’t as fortunate. Spread the word and “opt to adopt.” Many millions of tiny lives depend on it.

Love,

Crepes.

An outtake from our photo shoot: Siobhan was wondering why momFOD was hiding down there. She wanted so much to include her in the photos, too. Such generosity!
