Today, I have decided to wax poetic about the snow or lack thereof.
.
Hey snow, where are you?
I like watching through the glass
As you stop traffic.
.
Floating down softly
seesawing through the crisp air
Touching down, lightly.
.
You make the streets slick
Drivers are swearing while I
Relax and groom fur.
Love,
Crepes.
PS. I’m taking suggestions for next week’s Tuesday Haikusday topic. What’chu got?
Softly falling down
Crystalline, mystical snow
Swirling in the wind.
Blanketing our world.
Covering all that exists.
The Earth slumbers now.
We should take the hint.
To quiet mind and body.
Then, begin again.
Appaws!!! Clap clap clap clap! Beautiful! Crepes.
chicken wing haiku?
Nice job, Crepes. The snow has been kind of scarce here, too. We had 18 inches from the last storm, but it’s been in the 50s and low 60s this week … lots of puddles and mushy piles are all that are left.
Love, V’day, Chinese New Year are timely. Our advice: be like melting snow…
We sure haven’t seen much snow this year…yet.
How about Valentines’ Day. Or, spring?
I loved this week’s haikus! As for next week… how about birdies?
snow iz just like ice
dont eat em two fast ore else
ya getz an “eye pain”
♥♥♥
That was awesome! We’re quite happy with our sudden lack of snow!
So happy to see Haiku postings are back! How about “Midwinter Resolutions” as a topic?
A Haiku topic for next week? How about “NAPPING”………we all love that. As for snow – I can send you a bucket full – we are finally getting RID of our 30” of the stuff and if I’d known you wanted some, I would have made arrangements to truck it to you.
Hugs, Sammy
