Bachelor of the Week: Bertie!

Today we have a big, giant, orange man cat who fears nothing and no one!

Meet Bertie. He’s fluffy and looks like a dreamsicle. In fact, I would personally love to lick him but I’m not allowed back into Tree House. Anyway, Bertie has been living at Tree House for almost three years now. He was admitted in 2011 due to a contorted leg and it was discovered that he also has FIV. His leg is now healed and you won’t even notice the FIV just by looking at him, I promise.

Bertie loves to explore baskets, beds, caves, and anything that comes within sixteen feet of his general perimeter. He’s on a special diet to keep his figure in check. He loves other cats and would be happiest in a home where he could run, jump, and play right alongside them. Maybe you could even get another cat and name him Ernie-ie and they could eat special diet cookies together in your bed. Or not. Totally up to you.

In any case, Tree House waives all adoption fees on FIV+ cats and will give you a health contract that will provide free or low-cost services for the duration of Bertie’s life. He’s about six year old now, so he’s got quite awhile to go.

If you’d like to meet this whimsical stud, contact Tree House right now! Hurry! And if you totally want to adopt him but you can’t, share his story. Let’s get this bad boy a home!
