You guys.
I don’t even know what else to say, so I’ll let my feelings come out in haiku. Eh hem…
She did it again.
Words cannot express to you
How kittens bug me.
.
They’re all grey this time.
Except the one that I call
Mustache. She’s part white.
.
Spinning, playing, smells.
These things all come from kittens.
Toy mice everywhere.
.
There you have it. You might as well also see them. Go ahead. Look:
Have you ever fostered? It’s quite an amazing experience (or so MomFOD constantly tells people). In fact, MomFOD had a little meeting last night with some rescue workers and they were saying how that would be the BEST THING you could do during kitten season. All you need is a spare room – a bathroom, bedroom, basement space – anything will do, as long as it’s safe and warm. A few weeks of your care and time would mean the world to a few little faces like you see above.
Here are some articles I wrote earlier this year:
Kitten Season: A Serious Need for Fosters
Please do consider fostering if you haven’t – it’s a life-changing experience.
Love,
Crepes.
I apparently can’t not foster..
Hi Crepes..they look like BIG trouble..sleep with one eye open in case they try to write on you or give you a shaving. Fuzzmother..I love your Haiku Luv Pixie xxooxx
Thank you, Pixie! I loved your comment–envisioning the writing and the shaving!
Fostering is wonderful. Mom did it and she said that the hardest part was letting go…but right now we are “full up at the inn” and there are no nooks or crannies to stash more cats! In honor of Teddy, she wrote this:
What a ball of fur
ever so sweet and joyful
So much energy
Up the drapes he goes
Sliding on the counter, too.
Crash! There goes a dish
He lays down to sleep
Tomorrow will come quickly
Racing in his dreams
We are very partial to grey kitties. These little ones are adorable!
Um, Crepes, we hear that a couple of those kittens may be staying permanently.
They’re absolutely adorable!
Love the Haiku! They are cuties!
I think they are all very cute!
Ahhhhh! So darn cute!
Noodle and crew
All we can say is, “SQUEEEEE”!
