Sad news, everyone.
I’ve been notified that, just yesterday, our lovely bachelor Scooter went over the rainbow bridge. The dear little fellow suffered a clot and passed away peacefully surrounded by Tabby’s Place staff. We’ve never lost a bachelor before and we’re really sad. Scooter never found his forever home, but he was well cared for and loved at Tabby’s Place and we know that their good work will help many, many other cats find homes of their own.
I keep a tiny account of money I make for my blog writing and I use it for things just like this. I’ve decided to make a little donation of $25 in memory of Scooter to make sure that more kitties find their homes. I hope you’ll consider joining me in doing the same to help support the work Tabby’s Place is doing. Any amount will help. To donate in memory of Scooter, you can go here. To donate any other amount, visit here.
Run free, Scooter, and be happy.
Love,
Crepes.
RIP Handsome Scooter
God’s speed to you scooter….we know you found happiness & love at tabby’s place but we also know you will find this …and much more at rainbow bridge…..loves to you ♥♥♥♥♥
RIP beautiful boy xxx
So very sorry to hear about Scooter. He may not have had a “forever” home but he was cared for and loved. Every kitty deserves that at the very least. RIP Scooter. Fly Free.
We are so very sad to hear this about sweet Scooter. Gentle purrs to all who loved and cared for him.
Be Well Sweet Scooter
Such a handsome boy.
We are sorry he went to the Bridge, but glad he was at a wonderful place like Tabby’s Place.
Purrs Georgia and Julie,
Treasure and JJ
So sorry to hear about dear Scooter……but he was surrounded by loving care and that’s a good thing. RIP Scooter.
Hugs, Sam
That is such sad news. I know the humans at Tabby’s Place will miss Scooter lots.
It was good of you to feature Scooter, and thoughtful to donate to Tabby’s Place in his memory. Scooter was still mistrustful of many humans, but he no longer hid in a cubby from the other cats. It was great to see him out and about, living with others and enjoying it.
The cat that came before us was named Scooter so the news about this Scooter makes us very sad. How nice of you to make a donation in his memory.
Poor Scooter, he was a wonderful mancat. He may not have found a human to adopt but he had a home and love at Tabby’s Place- a truly spectacular place to support. You are such a loving soul Crepes, I adore you.
On, no! We’re so sorry to hear this. The first cat that the head peep had as an adult after she left to live on her own was named Scooter, so she is really touched by this and has leaky eyes. Fly free, Scooter.
Oh, dear, so sorry to hear of Scooter’s passing OTRB. Rest in peace, dear lad. ♡♡♡♡
So sad to hear. RIP beautiful Scooter. Bless him.
Such sad news. Fly free dear Scooter. We never know the destiny of humans or animals and we can only do what we do make a difference day by day. (((hugs)))
Oh no. Rest in peace, sweet Scooter. You received wonderful care and were loved.
Oh no….safe journey over the Bridge Scooter. So sad
We are so sorry to hear about Scooter. Our humans’ first cat was Skooter. Mom just donated to sponsor a cat at PAWS, so we can’t send any money right now, but we hope others will donate. Have a great weekend. XO, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
That is very sad. RIP Scooter.
